Can I use roth IRA for day trading ? Or short term trading?
Someone told me “investment position can only be changed once every 12 months in roth IRA“, I don’t really know what it mean.
Also, can I claim capital loss on tax return form if I make bad investment in roth IRA?

Should most of my money go into my Roth IRA or in my regular trading account?
I am under the assumption that it’s better to trade stocks within my Roth Ira since the growth is tax-free. But the other part of me just wants to put it in my regular account so I can have access to it if I need to take it out should a job layoff or other emergency comes up. Should I max out my roth or should I just put all my money into my regular account? Why?
