If I create a Roth IRA at one bank or institution, and later decide due to fees or opportunities or whatever that I would rather have the account at a different bank, how easy is it to switch it?
Can I transfer my Roth IRA from one company to another for little or no fee?
I have a Roth IRA with Northwest Mutual that is 3 years old and I contribute $200/month to. I have a class C fund and they are charging me $50/year as a custodial fee. Can I transfer my money to another firm with a lesser fee? Also, can I transfer my money to buy directly from the fund itself (Vanguard, etc…) to avoid a fee altogether? Thanks in advance for the help.
Which is better: a 401k rollover to an IRA or to another, employer provided, retirement plan?
Which is better and why? Are they both pretty good choices?
How do I move a Roth IRA from one brokerage to another?
I have mine with American Funds and want to change it to a no-load brokerage like Fidelity or Vanguard. Will I incur any penalties because it is a Roth?
How can you roll over money from 1 Roth IRA to another without any penalty?
